Carbon Steel Plates

ASME SA562 is the Code version of ASTM A562/A562M for manganese-titanium carbon steel plates intended for fusion-welded pressure vessels that will receive a glass lining or a diffused metallic coating. Titanium is added to control carbon and support the coating process. This is not ordinary boiler carbon plate (SA285 / SA516), not high-strength manganese plate (SA455), and not Mn-V-Ni layered-vessel plate (SA225). SHH STEEL supplies SA562 as mill-direct plate, dual-certified to ASTM A562 when the vessel must be stamped to ASME Section VIII. Fine-grain practice and the heat-treatment condition required by SA-562 / SA-20 are recorded on the mill certificate. Certificates are EN 10204 3.1, with 3.2 available on request.
