Carbon Steel Plates

SHH STEEL supplies ASME SA724 / ASTM A724 quenched and tempered carbon-manganese-silicon pressure vessel plates as China steel mill-Direct Supply. The specification covers Grade A, Grade B and Grade C (Grade C may be produced with boron). Plates are Q&T and intended for welded-layered pressure vessels. Typical mill practice limits thickness to 22 mm for Grades A and B, and 50 mm for Grade C. Steel is killed, fine-grain, with tensile strength 90–110 ksi (620–760 MPa) for Grades A and C, and 95–115 ksi (655–795 MPa) for Grade B.
