S275J2 is a non-alloy structural steel under the European standard EN 10025-2. It provides a minimum yield strength of 275 MPa (for thickness ≤ 16 mm) and is impact tested at –20°C with a minimum energy of 27 J. Compared with S275JR and S275J0, the lower impact test temperature makes S275J2 more suitable for structural applications in colder environments or where higher toughness is required.
