SM490B Steel Plate

SM490A, SM490B and SM490C steel grade is a low carbon, welding structural steel. With this low carbon equivalent, it process good cold forming property. SM490A, SM490B and SM490C  steel plates usual supplied in Hot rolled or control rolled delivery condition.

SM490A,SM490B and SM490C are different in carbon element. Others are the same. SM490C carbon is 0.18%, SM490B is 0.18-0.20% and SM490A is 0.20-0.22%.

The equal steel grade is JIS SM570, A572 Gr.50, EN S355JR, ST 52-3 and so on
