A285 Grade B is a pressure vessel plates in carbon steel, low and intermediate tensile strength. A285 Grade B should be made by killed; semi killed, capped or rimmed steel practice at the producer option to be used for fusion welded pressure vessels.
The max thickness of A285 Grade B should be under 50mm because of the reason of internal soundness.
